Speedy Gallery Inc. (California), a US corporation of Speedy Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), partnered with V21 Artspace (London), which handles Hauser & Wirth, to open an online gallery on November 1, 2020. The gallery in Los Angeles was completely reproduced online as part of the Speedy Group's strategy to further promote DX (Digital Transformation) in the post-COVID era. Five exhibition rooms (2,400sqft = 192m2) in the Speedy Gallery in Los Angeles, where life of self-restraint still continues, are all precisely surveyed, utilizing the Matterport service. The entire gallery was photographed with a 3D scanning camera equipped with 6 cameras to reproduce a realistic gallery. Currently, Speedy Gallery is holding the “What is your Balance” exhibition by Moeko Maeda, who paints with salt.
