An exhibition presented by Osborne & What C.I.C.

Catrin travelled the UK meeting menopausal women and recording their positive and negative experiences of the menopause. She wanted to celebrate women going through post and peri menopause and give them a voice. As women we will all go through the menopause, but like many other experiences women in our culture go through it is still hidden, secretive and shameful.

Osborne & What C.I.C have previously been awarded funding by Arts Council England to make and tour Birdy, a show based on the book by William Wharton; it travelled to London, Great Yarmouth, Sheffield, Llanelli, Brecon, Worthing and Canterbury. The show was described by Total Theatre as “A metaphysical investigation into how escapism is as sane a choice as any in a world that tries to suppress the human spirit….Proof that circus can be harnessed to theatre in the telling of complex and disturbing stories.”
